Trainers and Judges

THE CRITERIA AND BRIEF OUTLINE OF WHAT IS REQUIRED

FOR ACCREDITATION

Working Equitation is a new discipline / Sport in Australia.

To perform correctly the horse needs to be supple obedient and precise.

For this, the rider needs to train gradually by using lateral work

and correct training, he will then develop his muscle tone and also his mind.

This will enable horse and rider working in the correct outline,

to perform all the movements required for Working Equitation.

Working in harmony and empathy with his rider without force or harshness.

    HI Gill
Many thanks for hosting your indoor demo at Darcy Place. It was a great opportunity to explore this new sport and meet some of you who are putting in the effort behind the scenes to spread the word.

I am still a bit incapacitated so have not been out and about too much, but everyone I have asked has expressed interest in WE and would like to know and see more. I have approached the local riding club to see if they would like to include the phase in their calendar and am hoping for success as there is not a current sporting phase due to lack of a phase head. So watch this space. Do you have any current dates free in your calendar for a demo in say April or May? I would like to find out more about the equipment templates to make a start on those essentials (bull etc) even if I just use them at home to start with.
Thanks again for your warm hospitality.
    Regards
    Sue

Hello there. I have recently been introduced to your website and am very interested in seeking further information with a view of training my Morgan mare in this sport. I live in southern qld – west of toowoomba. Is there an opportunity of hosting some clinics? I am open to suggestions, but cant really travel too far as my work commitments wont allow time away at present. My mare has competed at novice level dressage and has trained at higher level. She has been away from the bustle of comps having a foal and is now coming back into work after 2 years off.

I look forward to hearing from you … kind regards. Jane Warren .. manyana Morgans.

PS website is under renovation and may have some items missing. My mare is called opal.
